My father is in Army so he often gets transfer to different cities in India. I still remember when I was 10 years old, my father got transferred to Delhi. My parents admitted me to Kendriya Vidyalaya, Delhi in 5th grade. I was so excited about my new school.

I packed my school bag in the night with new books only. Finally, the day came, I was very excited about my school. I got up early in the morning and dressed in my brand new school uniform. My father dropped me at the bus stop and within 30 minutes, I reached my new school. The school premises was very huge and many children were playing in the playground. I went to my classroom kept my school bag on the bench then suddenly the school bell rang and we went to the assembly hall of the school for the morning assembly.

After assembly, we came back to the classroom. Our class teacher introduced me with rest to the class and made me comfortable. She was a very kind and sweet lady. My classmates were quite friendly they informed me about the timetable and teachers. After attending 4 periods, finally, it was lunchtime. I shared my lunch with new friends and they offered me their lunch too.

All teachers were very nice and polite. I made so many friends. I liked my new school very much. As I got admission after summer vacations so I had to complete my notebooks and one of my classmates shared her notebooks so that I can cover the previous syllabus well.

Overall, it was a nice and memorable day of my life. I studied till 10th grade with that school and then my family relocated to a different city.
