Respected Sir,

I would like to draw the attention of the municipal committee towards the frequent breakdown of water supply in our locality. I shall be highly obliged if you kindly publish our complaint in your esteemed paper. The people of this area have brought this fact to the knowledge of the municipality but there is no change in the water supply system.

Our locality is facing a severe scarcity of water. Water is turned on in the pipes only for a few hours and that too irregularly every day. The time of the supply is not fixed. The supply is broken down at any time. The amount is so small that it hardly suffices for drinking purposes.

I hope you will kindly publish my complaint in your newspaper so the municipal committee will improve the condition of the water supply in our locality.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

Respected Sir,

Through the columns of your esteemed paper. I would like to draw the attention of the authorities to the fact that there are frequent breakdowns of electricity in our locality. The residents of this area have brought this fact to the knowledge of the Electricity Department but with no result.

The frequent breakdown causes great inconvenience to the residents of the area. The students feel great trouble because they are preparing for board examinations. Darkness prevails all-around at night due to breakdown and thieves become more active during complete darkness.

I hope you will kindly publish my letter in your esteemed paper so the authorities may realize our difficulties and take the necessary steps in the matter.

Thanking you,

Yours sincerely,

Respected Sir,

I am very sorry to report that the postman Mr. ABC has displeased almost all the people living in the locality. His work and behaviour/behavior both are unsatisfactory. He is very irregular and careless. Sometimes he delivers my letters to other persons and theirs to me. Many important letters thus never reach the right person. Everybody in the locality is displeased with his behaviour/behavior. I have requested him many times but his response is the same as before.

I hope you will enquire into the matter and try to send some other man in his place. I will feel highly obliged to you for this.

Yours faithfully,

Subject: Scarcity of sugar and kerosene oil at the fair price shop.

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring your kind notice towards the working of the fair price shop in our locality is very unsatisfactory. Generally, it is said that essential articles like sugar and kerosene oil are out of stock. The needy consumers suffer a lot while the person in charge of the shop indulges in dishonest practices. The residents of the locality have lodged complaints against him but there is no result so far.

So I am requesting you to take the personal interest in the matter and take the necessary steps to remove the difficulties caused by the scarcity of sugar and kerosene oil at the fair price shop.

The people of the locality will feel highly obliged to you for this.

Yours faithfully,

Respected Sir,

I would like to bring to your kind attention that the telephone disorders have grown to be a serious problem because the telephones in our locality are generally lying dead. This causes much inconvenience to the residents of this area. Many times the complaints were attended to but the removal of faults was temporary.

I hope you would look into the matter and take steps to redress our grievances caused by repeated telephone disorders. The residents of the locality will feel highly obliged to you for this.

Respected Sir,

I am highly obliged that the school has been doing such a wonderful job in helping staff with special conditions like me and others by providing us with assistance from assistant teachers in accomplishing the duties we are ought to adhere to.

Looking at the respect and honour/honor of yourself and whole management, I wish to continue until the longest possible time. I want to contribute in all possible ways such as marking copies, tabulation, reports preparation of my students.

As per my condition, it wouldn’t be possible for me to stand and appear in exam duties. So, I humbly request you to consider my situation and relieve me of my exam duty. I will highly appreciate your generosity and support.

Thanking you!

      Municipal Corporation,
      Delhi

Respected Sir,

I would like to draw your kind attention towards the poor sanitary condition of my locality. I regret to inform you that the sanitary conditions of our locality becoming bad to worse day by day. The sweepers are very careless and irregular. Sometimes no sweeper comes for many days and the drains remain choked. They give out the foul smell and mosquitoes and flies breed in them. It is very harmful to health.

The attention of the sanitary inspector was drawn to this bad condition but with no result. I, therefore, request you to visit the locality personally and see things for yourself.

I hope you will be kind enough to look into this matter and get the place cleaned up as early as possible.

Dear Sarthak,

Your examination will be over by the time this letter reaches you. You will have summer vacations after examination. I would request you to come and spend your vacations with us in Nainital.

It is quite cool here. I am sure you will enjoy the natural beauty of this place. We'll take a ride on the trolley to reach the peak of the mountain where we'll use binoculars to see peaks of The Himalaya. We'll enjoy boating in the Naini lake. I'll also show you the candle market and Tiffin top, both the places are so beautiful and attractive.

I am sure you will love this place. My parents will be very glad to have you among us. Please let me know when you are coming here.

Kindly convey my respectful compliments to your parents.

Yours sincerely,
Vivek

My Dear Abhishek,

I get to know about you from Vinod that you have been suffering from typhoid for the last five days. You did not even post a letter to me. This sad news is a cause of great anxiety to me.

Please take strict precautions in your illness. Follow your doctor's advice strictly. Do not touch solid food until you are completely relieved of typhoid. I'll be shortly coming to see you. I hope you will be normal very soon. You need not to have any worry.

I once again pray for your early recovery.

Yours sincerely,
Mahesh
