Topic: Prepositions

Aim: the students will be able to identify and use prepositions to write a complete sentence.

Tools: textbook, chalk, green board, smart class

Lecture Method:
Activity 1: Ask the class a few questions to check their previous knowledge related to the topic.

Activity 2: With the help of objects of the class, the relation between a noun and another word will be explained and shown to the kids/students and the answers will be written on the board.
Examples:
(a) The book is on the table.
(b) She wrote her name with her pen.
(c) Ravi holds your chair in front of you.

Activity 3: To explain the topic more effectively many more examples will be discussed with the students, their answers will be written on the board and discussion will take place.

Ending:
  • Divide the class into four groups.
  • Ask them to discuss within the group and write as many examples as they can.
  • The group with the maximum number of examples will win.
Review:
Write some sentences on the board and ask the students to identify the Prepositions in them.
