Topic: Picture writing

Objective/Aim: the students will be able to describe the pictures themselves. 

Tools: picture, marker pen, whiteboard, smart class, projector

Teaching Method:
Activity 1: Warm-Up
Ask some questions to check their previous knowledge about the topic. 

Activity 2:
  • Invite students to focus their attention on the board where the picture is displayed. 
  • Give them a few minutes to think before they share their thoughts with their classmates. 
  • Record their answers on the board, repeat sentences with corrections.

Activity 3: 
Give students a picture and ask them to write down their thoughts about it in their notebooks and let them compare their findings with their classmates.

Ending:
  • Divide the class into four groups. Give each group a picture.
  • Ask them to discuss in their group and write thoughts on that picture.
  • The group with the maximum number of correct examples will win.
Evaluation/Review: Show a picture on board and ask students to find out words related to the picture and told them to make sentences with those words with the whole class orally.
