Use of has, have, had
नियम 1. इनका प्रयोग Perfect Tense बनाने में होता हैं :
Rule 1. For making Perfect Tense :
Examples :
a) राम स्कूल जा चुका है । 
 Ram has gone to school. 
b) मैंने उसको एक पत्र भेजा है ।
I have sent a letter to him. 
c) मैंने यह घर पहले नहीं देखा था । 
I had not seen this house before.


नियम 2. जब क्रिया का अर्थ किसी वस्तु को अधिकार में रखना हो, तब 'has', 'have', 'had' मुख्य क्रिया की तरह काम करती हैं । 
Rule 2. We use 'has', 'have', 'had' as a Principal verb when the meaning of the verb to be in possession of an object or thing.
Examples:
a) मेरे पास एक कलम है । 
I have a pen.
b) उनके पास पुस्तकें हैं । 
They have books.
c) उसके पास एक मेज थी । 
She had a table.

नियम 3. Principal verbs(मुख्य क्रियाओं) 'has', 'have', 'had' के साथ Negative या Interrogative बनाने के लिए प्राय: 'do', 'does', 'did' का प्रयोग करते है । 
Rule 3. 'do', 'does', 'did' are used to make Negative or Interrogative where 'has', 'have', 'had' are the Principal verbs.
Examples :
a) मेरे पास कोई सामान नहीं है । 
I do not have any baggage.
b) क्या तुम्हारे पास कोई पुस्तक है ?
Do you have any book ?
c) रीना के पास किसका घोड़ा था ?
Whose horse did Reena have?
d) जॉन के पास एक बांसुरी नहीं है । 
Jon does not have a flute.
